Captivo – about a captured Spanish Jewess of the Renaissance.

 

Coplas de Purim – a humorous half-hour retelling of the story of Esther, for several characters.

 

Dos Amantes – a portrait of young, Turkish Sephardic woman confounded by two lovers.

 

Doña Gracia Mendes de Naci – a dance about a true Renaissance Sephardic woman, who commanded economic and spiritual leadership in Europe.

 

Endechas – an elegy to the lost children in the Holocaust, inspired by a visit to Auschwitz.

 

Hagar’s Midrash – a retelling of the biblical Hagar story, with a contemporary twist.

 

La Rosa – a lyrical dance to the classic Sephardic Sabbath song.

La Serena – about a dynamic and maniacal figure from Greek and Turkish Sephardic lore.

Minush – a lovely vision of the Turkish Sephardic woman named Minush.

Moroccan Wedding Suite – shows the bride in the traditional black brocade gown by the river, at the wedding and at the reception.

Petenera – about the doomed Sephardic woman from Petener.

These Things I Remember – five poignant and dramatic vignettes showing the saga of Sephardic life from the Inquisition through Morocco and Turkey to the Nazi period and culminating in contemporary times.

Viva Ordueña – a lively portrait of a Moroccan lass who learns to dance at the sea.
